love it love it love it
This just in via Thought for the Week by JohnsonBanks. Something any designer can appreciate.
"Sydney-based designer Chris Doyle has obviously done too many large identity projects recently - he decided to create a set of guidelines for himself as he began wondering ‘how my personal identity would be documented if it were considered in graphic design terms.
So the image above is from a spread marked Full Colour Vertical_Private. The following 'key identity formats’ are, of course, Full Color_Vertical, Full Colour Seated_Casual and Full Colour Seated _Formal.
There’s a funny section about colour palette, then colour variations.
And ‘incorrect use’.
eureka!
I would buy this furniture in a heartbeat...if only I could read the website. By Kenchikukagu in Japan.
dark chocolate
Loving this chocolate packaging I discovered on FFFFOUND (also seen on The Dieline). The name of the company is Askinosie Chocolates founded by a criminal-defense-lawyer-turned-chocolatier who has a profit sharing program with the farmers who make his business possible.
obsession
From the genius of Sagmeister Inc. participating in Droog Event 2: Urban Play. It is part of a series "Things I have learned in my life so far." by Stefan Sagmeister. Designed with 250,000 Euro cents with the intention that people would interact with it, rearrange it, or take it. Unfortunately, the Amsterdam police, afraid someone would ruin the art, decided it would be best just to clean it up.
Sad.
It describes my life so well.
