Celebratory Design #100: Where's bears?

Very, very excited to post my 100th design for this year. I'm amazed that I've created 100 unique designs in 7 months - it's been a blast. Thanks to my March drawing challenge, I have to say that I now enjoy having just a paper and pen in front of me (it hasn't always been that way). Lately I've had fun utilizing hand drawn type in my wallpapers and tonight was no exception. I'm not completely for sure where the phrase "Where's Bears" came from; it sounds like a book I would have read in elementary school, but after a quick search I wasn't able to find a match. If anyone has any leads feel free to let me know.

DESIGN #54: CAT CHICKEN ELF DOG

We're officially on our way to the UK which means loads of free time waiting in airports. I have a scanner app on my iPhone, so the quality isn't great but because the drawing scanned in with very high contrast, it provides an interesting deviation. Overall, this cat chicken elf dog creature looks much more menacing on screen than it does in my sketchbook.

I just heard about this today. What a copout. Apple, my love still abounds for you, but this is low...this is really, really low.

The following is pulled directly from an article posted today on ComputerWorld:

"Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will begin selling Apple Inc.'s iPhone later this month, employees at several stores in the discount retail chain said today.

Wal-Mart's corporate headquarters, however, would not confirm that the company will sell the iconic iPhone. A spokeswoman said only that "we are not making an official announcement at this time."

Over the weekend, reports surfaced claiming that Wal-Mart, the largest retailer in U.S., would soon sell one or more models of the iPhone. On Saturday, for example, the San Jose Mercury News cited managers and employees at stores in Northern California who said that they were undergoing sales training and that the iPhone would be on store shelves either shortly before or right after Christmas."
